Introduction

Mixed Tocopherol is a generic term for tocopherols and tocotrienols. Mixed Tocopherol is a family of α-, β-, γ-, and δ- (respectively: alpha, beta, gamma, and delta) tocopherols and corresponding four tocotrienols. It is a fat-soluble antioxidant that stops the production of reactive oxygen species formed when fat undergoes oxidation. Of these, α-tocopherol (also written as alpha-tocopherol) has been most studied as it has the highest bioavailability.

Mixed tocopherols 95% is a brownish red, clear oily liquid, nearly odorless, and is composed of d-alpha tocopherol, d-beta tocopherol, d-gamma tocopherol and d-delta tocopherol, and derived from natural sources, i.e. from edible vegetable oil. It can be used as antioxidant and nutrient in foods, cosmetics, and personal care products, also can be used in feed.

Function:

1.
